Don't Ask, Don't Tell has been repealed

All I can say is it's about time. My brother didn't get why I was so invested in it, since I have no intention of ever joining the military. All I could tell him is that no one should ever have to choose between who they are and what they want to be.

Historically, enforcing a change in the military leads to enforceable, legally required changes. Desegregation came first in the military.

This is true! I hold out hope. I realise it'll take a while to implement, but... it's a step forward, at least, that gives me hope.
