It is snoooowing! Huge flakes were coming down but it finally tapered into a very cold, very miserable rain... so naturally I decided that was the time to head home. Halfway through pricks of ice started hitting my cheeks and by the time my apartment was in view, huge snowflakes were splatting against the ground.
The good thing is that my teacher said I didn't have to take my test for Vergil, then my Martyrs class at 3:30 was canceled so I'm home, cuddled nice and warm for the rest of the evening to work on catching up on Latin and typing up my Job-Wilde paper.
Thank goodness for snow days! Stay warm, y'all!
And for some gems from Neville today:
On Cultivating an Enjoyment of Leisure: "It's very much like drinking--the more often you do it, the easier it gets. Actually, I hear exercise is the same way, but I wouldn't know about that."
On South Africa: "All our disasters are social or political; Mother Nature is very well behaved."
On Being Told California At Least Has a Dry Heat: "So does my oven, but I wouldn't want to live in it."
